WORD FOR THE WEEK
I'm in a similar situation right now, trying to make amends/trying to catch up old times.
Once upon a time we ate together, played together, wore same clothing's,did virtually everything together, to the point we were called sisters....Yeah,we were so close.
Distance disrupted us, made us part ways.
We were OK for the first two years, we kept communicating , exchanged gifts, feelings and everything happening in our lives.
Gradually we grew up, that's the only word that pops up in my head...Yeah, we grew up
Days moved like the speed of light,
Weeks passed by like water gushing out from Mother nature at her worsta causing crevices to split and the banks to burst,
Years passed like how lightning flash across the sky
silver clouds.
We no longer shared our likes and dislikes.
Now she's back, It's like I don't know her anymore.Rather, we do not know each other.
What hurts me the most is that she passed
Through many crisis, bitter past & I wasn't there to console her.
I'm used to thinking distance means nothing to someone you love when communication is excluded....I believed we'll just catch up old times whenever we meet.
Truth is, That is a complete fallacy...
Actually Distance means alot to someone you love when there is NO communication.
The relationship won't be same.
I'm in a dilemma were I can't patch things up & it hurts. She changed, I did as well...All we got to do is move on & never repeat same mistake.
